Aluminum Foil/Glass Cloth/Silicone Adhesive
8.7 mil – Fiberglass cloth with aluminum foil laminate. Provides high
strength and reflectivity with excellent flexibility. Cloth is coated
with high temperature resistant silicone adhesive. Non-corrosive
and flame retardant (withstands open flame/extreme heat). Used
in plasma masking, grit blasting, seaming of heat/flame barrier
curtains, securing thermal insulation, shielding missile/aircraft
components (control cables, harnesses, fuel lines, etc.). Prevents
build-up of liquid metal on surfaces that must be protected.
Adhesion: 43 oz/in. Tensile Strength: 72 lbs/in. Elongation: 11%.
Temperature Range: -94°F to 500°F. Meets Spec: T-MIL 83284,
ASTM D1000, ASTM 149, JIS Z0237. Color: Silver. 3” plastic core.
