Description
GC-SA7 is an 8.7 mil high-performance tape constructed from a fiberglass cloth laminated with aluminum foil, coated with a high-temperature resistant silicone adhesive. This tape provides a combination of strength, reflectivity, flexibility, and durability, making it ideal for extreme environments where flame and heat resistance are critical.
It is non-corrosive, flame retardant, and engineered to withstand direct flame and high heat exposure, up to 500°F (260°C). GC-SA7 is used in demanding industrial and aerospace applications including plasma masking, grit blasting, heat curtain seaming, and securing insulation or shielding sensitive components like fuel lines, wiring harnesses, and control cables.
