Non-corrosive and flame retardant (withstands open flame/extreme heat). Used in plasma masking, grit blasting, seaming of heat/flame barrier curtains, securing thermal insulation, shielding missile/aircraft components (control cables, harnesses, fuel lines, etc.). Prevents build-up of liquid metal on surfaces that must be protected.
