Product Overview:
The Kapton™ Alternative Polyimide Tapes (KPT-1 and KPT-2) are engineered for electrical insulation and high-temperature protection in demanding manufacturing environments. These polyimide films are coated with a high-performance silicone adhesive, offering superior tear resistance, conformability, and thermal endurance during processes such as wave soldering and hot air leveling.
Their gold/amber transparent film allows operators to observe the board during processing while ensuring maximum protection for sensitive components. With excellent resistance to acids, oils, solvents, water immersion, and aging, they are widely used in electronics, PCB assembly, and aerospace industries.
