DC-1114 Double Coated Polyester Tape – Clear, 3.5 mil
DC-1114 is a high-performance, double coated polyester film tape featuring a clear 0.5 mil polyester backing coated on both sides with a synthetic hot melt rubber adhesive. It is wound on a 2.7 mil white siliconized paper release liner for smooth handling and application.
This tape offers excellent initial tack, superior moisture resistance once bonded, and is ideal for mounting and bonding difficult surfaces. It performs well in humid conditions and is especially effective for laminating foams, plastics, films, and foils. Common uses include splicing, nameplate attachment, and general-purpose industrial bonding.
This environmentally friendly tape uses a solventless adhesive and is suitable for temperatures ranging from -4°F to 140°F.
